and create your own food pyramid. Record the daily recommendations Mypyramid gives you. Then create a food journal and keep track of everything you eat for 24 hours. Use the below websites to look up calories and nutrition value.

Interesting...I recall doing this same project in middle school in two separate occasions. The first one was to do a poster on a food pyramid. The second time, I had to record food I ate for a day. Now in high school, it's all mixed up into one.

i remember doing this in my 7th grade career class for a week. looking back, it was scary how unhealthy i was. hopefully i got better! ;D
